CILC MISSION

The Centre for International Learning Calgary (CILC) is a Christian organization. Its members identify as followers of Jesus Christ. We do welcome students from all faith or non-faith backgrounds. And we respect all individuals.

Our Purpose

To provide a variety of opportunities to improve English communication, understand Canadian culture, build friendships and develop important workplace skills.

Our Focus

Each class has a unique set of outcomes based on:

1. The focus of the class

2. The needs of the students

3. The English levels of the students

The teachers and volunteers involved in our classes and workshops share these aims:

1. To maintain a welcoming atmosphere

2. To encourage dialogue and expression

3. To help students to develop skills that will help them find work, make friends or continue their studies
